Role Overview
This Senior Analyst role based in Shanghai, China focuses on client facing consulting work across organisation design, workforce strategy, change management, leadership development, digital HR, and agile transformation.
The role works closely with project teams, senior stakeholders, and clients to deliver research, analysis, insights, workshops, proposals, and practical solutions that support organisational transformation and workforce-related business challenges.
Key Responsibilities
- Support client projects across organisation design, workforce strategy, change management, leadership development, digital HR, and agile transformation.
- Conduct research, analysis, and benchmarking to generate insights and recommendations for client engagements, proposals, workshops, and business development activities.
- Work with project teams to understand client needs, structure analytical approaches, and develop solutions that drive business impact.
- Contribute to client workshops, presentations, proposals, and discussions through analysis, subject matter expertise, and practical recommendations.
- Support the development of tools, frameworks, benchmarks, surveys, and knowledge assets related to organisation and workforce transformation.
- Collaborate with consultants, project leaders, and internal experts to strengthen client delivery and share knowledge across teams.
- Assist in developing intellectual property, training materials, and onboarding resources for colleagues.
- Travel occasionally for client-facing work and onsite project support where required.
Qualifications and Experience
- At least 2 years of experience in organisation design, workforce strategy, change management, leadership development, digital HR, agile transformation, HR consulting, or related transformation topics.
- Consulting experience in HR transformation, organisational effectiveness, talent strategy, workforce transformation, or business transformation would be highly relevant.
- Strong business acumen, problem-solving ability, and capacity to structure complex organisational challenges into clear analysis and recommendations.
- Experience conducting research, benchmarking, data analysis, stakeholder interviews, client workshops, or proposal support would be advantageous.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain insights clearly to project teams, clients, and senior stakeholders.
- Comfortable working collaboratively in team-based, cross-border, and often virtual environments.
- Flexible, curious, and comfortable navigating ambiguity, changing project needs, and complex client requirements.
- Proficiency in English and Mandarin is required for client communication, analysis, presentations, and written deliverables, as the role involves supporting Mandarin speaking stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree required; an advanced degree in Business, Human Resources, Organisational Behaviour, Economic, or a related field would be advantageous.
